Presents were sent [ to scholars who were prevented by ill- ! ness from attending. * * * il The quarterly meeting of the WaiU| kato Licensing Committee was held at “i the Morrinsville Courthouse. Applications for renewals of licences were ■ granted as follow: —Waihou Hotel, i Waihou; Central Masonic and National Hotels. Cambridge: Taupiri Hotel, I Taupiri: Nottingham Castle and MorI rinsville Hotels, Morrinsville. A transfer of licence of the Taupiri Hotel from T. Main to F. H. Durbridge was granted. The police report stated J that all hotels in the district had been I well conducted. Action against owners of unlicenced j! hoardings is to be taken by the Morf rinsville Borough Council as a result Id of a resolution passed on Thursday. The question was raised by Cr. T.
