Wearing daddy’s great big shoes Is such a heap of fun; You can’t tell where your own feet end And where they have begun! They make a clumpy-clumpy noise, A-shuffling on the floor. And seem so very big to lift On thresholds of a door. To climb the stairs is slow, hard work— You really couldn’t run— But wearing daddy's great big shoes Is heaps and heaps of fun.
