Her veil of embroidered silk tulle formed a train, and was held in place by orange blossoms and silver leaves. She carried a shower bouquet of roses and carnations. The bride was attended by Miss Greta Hyde, who wore a french model frock of rose beige georgette and lace, with hat to tone. Little Mary Clarke, of Waihi. niece of the bride, wearing a pale pink taffeta frock, acted as flower girl. Both attendants carried shower bouquets to tone with their frocks. Mr. George Tucker attended the bridegroom as best man, and Mr. C. Bridges acted as usher. After the ceremony, solos were sung by Mr. Bree, a member of the choir. Later a reception and dance were held in the Parish Hall. The guests were received by the bride’s mother, who wore a frock of nattier blue crepe de chine, with beige georgette and blue bangkok hat.
