RELIEF WORKER DROWNED
TRYING TO SWIM BULLER Press Association WESTPORT, Today. This morning, while attempting to swim the Buller River, at the Tiroroa railway construction camp, G. Baker, a married man, aged about 28, was drowmed. The search for the body so far has been unsuccessful. Baker arrived a few days ago from Christchurch on relief work. It is believed that his wife is still in Christchurch.
