ATTRACTIVE CARD
THE Te Aroha Trotting Club, which this season will race on January 25, has issued an attractive schedule for the fixture. Chief on the card is the Te Aroha Cup of £335 and £25 trophy, with the handy limit of 4.40 Horses of this calibre are given a further chance in the mile saddle event, 2.20 limi.t The improving section has the Waitoa Handicap (15 miles), 3.38, Ruakaka Handicap (1.. miles), 3.2, Hot Springs Handicap (15 miles). 3.36, and Manawaru Handicap (2 miles), 4.48 to claim their attention. Square-gaiters, as usual, are well considered and the Etstow Handicap (15 miles), 3.45 and Waihou Handicap (2 miles), 4.54, will attract the trotters. January 8 has been decided upon as the general entry day, and Mr. C. E. Goosman is the handicapper. The detailed programme is advertised in this issue of THE SUN.
