NON-STOP FLIGHT RECORD
BRITISH PLANE LEAVES TODAY 6,000 MILES TO CAPETOWN British Official Wireless Reed. 11 a.m. RUGBY, Friday. Weather permitting, the Fairey monoplane will leave Cranwell, Lincolnshire, tomorrow morning to attempt a 6,000 miles non-stop flight to Capetown. Squadron-Leader Jones-Williams will pilot the machine, and Flight-Lieuten-ant Jenkins will act as relief pilot and navigator.
