NEW CHARITY STAMPS

IN ONE DENOMINATION ONLY From Our Resident Reporter WELLINGTON, Today. The word “seal,” which has bees used to describe the charity stafflP now being issued to raise funds ft* the fight against tuberculosis, a** caused some confusion, but it is plained that the stamps now being sole at 2d each are intended to be used » the same way as ordinary stamps. This type of charity stamp i» P fL vided for by the laws of the International Postal Union, which however, stipulates that the postage value ac-* he charity value must be clearly desig nated. For that reason the stamps carry the words “postage lj* on one edge and “charity Id” on tv other. The 2d stamp alone is being used the appeal, and it is not intended V issue one with two “id's” on it newspapers.
