The president of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce Council, Mr. H. T. Merritt, in discussing the suggestion at the meeting yesterday, advised its careful consideration on the ground lhat it would be very beneficial for Pacific trade relations. He described the Malolo’s visit as a very fine undertaking and believed that the objective of the trip was fully achieved and that goodwill actuated the tourists’ sentiments^and c pinions.
