CLAIM AGAINST AUDITOR

PRIVATE SETTLEMENT REACHED from Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Today. A settlement out of court has been reached between the parties to the action in which Victoria Buildings, Ltd., sued Frank W. Luxford, public accountant, Hamilton, for £468 for alleged negligence in auditing the hooks of the company. The action was heard 10 days ago, when Mr. Justice Herdman reserved his decision. Judgment was to have been delivered today, but the parties reached a satisfactory settlement yesterday. The terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
