CHILDREN’S TREAT

ONEHUNGA KINDERGARTEN The Oneliunga Kindergarten held its usual annual treat for children this morning, there being a record attendance of parents and friends. The children sang Christmas carols and action songs under the tuition of Miss SmulTtield and lier assistants. Prizes for attendance were won by Marjory Tortuous, and Kenny Gates. Santa Claus gave away gifts. Mrs. IT. Murdoch, -the president, after welcoming the children and their friends, reviewed the year’s work. She mentioned that the women’s committee had been successful in collecting for the institution and she hoped to have bigger premises for the accommodation of the scholars.
