FUR FARMS, LTD
Dissatisfaction at the attitude of the Government in not affording greater assistance to the rabbit farming industry is expressed by the directors of Fur Farms, Ltd., in their report covering the company’s operatiops over its first year.
The report states that the decline in the market for furs is only seasonal. The profit and loss account shows a net profit of £754. The directors have adopted a very conservative policy in respect to valuations and management. generally, and it is expected that this will react in the company’s favour during the coming year. Every effort is being made to develop a market in Australia, and a small shipment for Sydney is being arranged.
