SOLEMN REQUIEM MASS WAS CELENRATED at St. Patrick's Cathedral this morning by the Rtm Rev. Drm Brodie, Roman Catholie Bishop of Christchurch. Children of the Catholic School and Orplanges of Auckland filled the big Cathedral to overflowing. The body of the late Bishop the Rt. Rev. Dr. Cleary, clothes in his vestments and waering the mitre of his office, can be seen lying in state in the centre forground of the picture.
