Mr. 1). S. Ross, of Te Matai, has presented to the Te Puke Agricultural and Pastoral Association a silver rose bowl for perpetual competition in the industrial classes at the annual autumn show. Th© winner will be presented with a miniature replica of the bowl, which will be known as “The Te Matai Rose Bowl.”
The Bajr of Plenty Dairy Association, Te Puke, will pay out to suppliers on December 20 i! 30,922, The butter-fat received for November was 426,6151 b, as compared with 390,8651 b in November, 1928. The total amount paid to suppliers from July 1, 1929, to November 30, 1929, is £ 82,611, an increase of £3.078 lor the same period last year. The butter manufactured from July to November, 1929, was 627 tons ITcwt, an increase on the last corresponding period of 30 tons or 5 per cent.
