The visitors were defeated by 14 games to 10. Following are the details, Te Puke players *being mentioned first: Men’s Singles.—E. Steevens lost to Renshaw, 2—11; J. Steevens lost to Jordan, 7—11; E. Taylor beat V. Hardie, 11—9; L. E. Manning beat Bain, 11—3; J. R. Murray beat Cambie, 11—S; G. Simpson beat Mountfort, 11—3.
