BRICKWORKER INJURED

TWO FINGERS AMPUTATED From Our Own Correspondent WHANGAREI, Monday. Mr. Leonard Bourne met with a painful accident while working a brick press at Kamo Brick Works on Saturday, resulting in his being admitted to the Whangarei District Hospital. He caught his fingers in a part of the machinery, mangling his hand. An operation was performed at the hospital, and the first and second fingers were amputated.
