UNLICENSED MOTOR-BUS

The reserved decisions in the charges against John Paton, of Clevedon. of running a motor-bus between Auckland and Clevedon without a heavy traffic licence, were delivered by Mr. P. H. Levien, S.M., at the otahuhu Court yesterday.

Inspector Clark, of the Manukau County, said that Paton had now taken out the necessary licence up to the end of the financial year.

In fining defendant £3 and costs, 1 2 s, the magistrate said defendant’s action in licensing his vehicle saved the infliction of a heavy penalty.
