ROYAL SHOW IN SOUTH

OPENED BY GOVERNOR-GENERAL Press Association INVERCARGILL, Today. The weather is fine but dull for the Royal Show at Invercargill and the judging is now proceeding. The Governor-General and Lady Alice Fergusson were entertained at luncheon by the Southland Association, among those present being Mr. W. Perry, president of the Royal Society, the Hon. G. W. Forbes, Minister of Bands, the Hon. P. A. de la Perrelle, Minister of Internal Affairs, and Mrs. B. B. Woods, who represented Sir Joseph Ward. Later the show was officially opened by the Governor-General.
