POLICE FIND LOOT
TITIRANGI BURGLARY EARLY ARREST EXPECTED A quantity of cigarettes and cigarette papers, part of the loot from the Titirangi store which was robbed last Wednesday week, have been found by Constable Boag and Mr. W. A. Bishop, proprietor of the store, hidden in the bush about a chain from the store. A number of loaves of bread were also found nearby. An arrest is expected to be made shortly. The building, a combined store, post office and tea-rooms, was entered during a heavy rainstorm. The 3 r outh who usually sleeps on the premises had gone home for the night for the first time in several weeks, and Mr. Bishop, who lives close by, heard no sounds suggestive of a burglary. The entire stock of tobacco and cigarevtes, also a quantity of groceries, was stolen.
