TIVOLI
“THE LITTLE WILD CAT” A highly entertaining comedy drama, laid in the romantic Southland and in- • volving the adventures of a modern • rider of the air. is “The Little Wild- ! cat,” Warner Bros.' all-star produc- j tion at the Tivoli Theatre. | Audrey Ferris, Doris Dawson. James Murray, George Fawcett, Robert Edc- j | son and Hallam Cooley appear in im- ; portant roles. Miss Ferris and Mi/s i , Dawson are cast as sisters, whose flu - ■ | tatious inclinations give rise to many j | delightful situations. Murray appears J as a young flyer who, with ambitious j to establish an airport, bumps into the irascible Judge Holt, who is fiercely antagonistic to anything modern. Fawcett, in quite as fiery a way. guards Audrey and Doris, his granddaughter-. Fawcett’s influential opposition to flying causes Murray to launch a plan to steal the old man’s support by capturing the heart of one of his wards. The progress of the scheme introduces much hilarity. Fawcett and Edeson likewise capture a lion’s share of comedy honours by their constant j haggling over an argument a half-cen-tury old. Cooley’s preformance IS , also excellent as a. somewhat phlegI rnatic Romeo forever at the beck anl call of the two Juliets. I Shorter talkie items complete the > programme.
