Thrice was Vincent Richards, who * held the professional lawn tennis 1 championship of America, within a. j point of victory in his match with. Karel Kozeluh. in the final of the recent tourney for that championship, 1 at Forest Hills, New York State. The 1 match went the full distance of five i sets, and lasted for more than two ! hours and a-half before Kozeluh, the Czecho-Slovakian, who is coach to the All-England Club, won it.
