PRESBYTERIANS MEET
ANNUAL REPORTS GIVEN ! Good work on all church activities was reported at the annual meeting of the Ivnox Presbyterian Church, Parnell. All officials were thanked for their work during the past year. The communion roll now stands at 155. an increase of 30. Average attendances have also risen. The total revenue was £1,157 19s. A bequest of £IOO made by the late Mr. Frederick Worthington had been used to reduce the mortgage on the manse. The balance sheet of the Women’s Missionary Union branch showed that £137 18s had been raised, giving a crdit balance of £45. Appreciation was expressed for the services of the minister, the Rev.* A. Macdonald Aspland. Managers were elected as follow: Mesdames W. Fegan, W. D. Grant and W. Wilson; Misses McQuarrie and Scarborough; and Messrs. R. J. Byers, A. S. Carmichael, F. Hookey, I. B. Paterson, R. L. Paterson, and W. Trott. Mr. R. A. "Walker was added as a member of the session. REPORTS AT CAMBRIDGE An increase of communicants at every quarterly service during the past six years, and steady progress to the present position with 353 members on tho roll, was reported at the annual meeting of the Tr*inity Presbyterian Church, Cambridge. The work of the minister, the Rev. James Hay, both as regards pastoral and ministerial duties, was praised by the session. During his six years in charge, 299 people have been admitted to church membership. Reports were presented from five Bible classes and three Sunday schools, all leaders being praised for their work. The committee of managers was elected as follows: —Messrs. F. FI. Anderson, IF. E. Davys, W. A. Fisher, R. C. Hay-Smith, E. James, J. P. Keeley, B. Moore, A. X. Macky. C. Thompson, C. Watt, and O. A. White. There is still one to be elected. TAMAKI-PANMURE CHURCH The moderator, the Rev. A. Macdonald Aspland, presided at the annual meeting of the Tamaki-Panmure Presbyterian Church last evening, when satisfactory reports were presented by the various organisations. The Sunday school has increased by 20 to 75 members. The church treasurer’s report showed a credit of £25. By unanimous vote, it was decided to grant the minister, the Rev. W. T. Platt, a bonus of £lB in recognition of his work. The moderator was given a vote of thanks for meeting a deputation at Tamaki yesterday afternoon, and for presiding in the evening. His keen interest in the work was also noted.
