Round the Churches

Divine services, morning and evening, at the St. Mary's Cathedral, Parnell, will be conducted by Canon Fancourt, whose subject in the evening will be “The Value of the Bible.”

The Rev. Lionel B. Fletcher, whose subject in the evening will be “Only Half a Man,” will be the preacher at the services of the Beresford Street Congregational Church.

Th© preachers at the services of the Auckland Higher Thought Temple will be Mr. T. W. Silcock and Mr. 11. F. Robinson respectively.

An afternoon meeting will be held by the Men’s Brotherhood at the Y.M.C.A.

The 11 o’clock morning service of the Methodist Central Mission, Airedale Street, will be conducted by the Rev. L. C. Horwood, and in the evening the preacher will be Mrt W. Reevely. * * * “The Human Aura” will be the topic treated by Mr. Fitton at the 7 o’clock evening service of the Spiritual Scientists’ Church, Grey Lynn. * * * A special young women’s service will be celebrated in the evening at the Pitt Street Methodist Church, when the preachejr will be the Rev. W. Walker. * * * A one-week Bible conference, under the Supervision of Dr. French E. Oliver, will commence on Sunday, December 15, at 7 p.m., at the Scots Hall. * * * Mr. E. P. Clarke, of Australia, will conduct the meeting of the International Bible Students’ Association. Morning and evening service will be conducted by the Christadelphians, Freemasons’ Belgium Street. The Rev. A. S. Wilson will be the

morning and evening preacher at the Grange Road Baptist Church. “Spiritual Experiences” will be the subject of Mr. J. Gardner at the 7 o’clock evening service of the Presbyterian Church of Spiritual Scientists, Newmarket.
