FRESH AIR FUND
SUNSHINE CAMP FOR POOR CHILDREN
Between now and Christmas the Dawn Lady has a new slogan for you. It is this: “Save your pennies.” Last year, you will remember, in conjunction with the Wigwam, we sent 28 orphans and poor children to Sister Pat’s sunshine camp at Oneroa, and this year little people of Happy Town are asked to assist this cause again. Ten shillings will send one child to camp for a week, but no sum is too small.
Save your pennies, turn them into stamps and send them to the Dawn Lady. All subscriptions will be acknowledged in the Happy Town page, and at Christmas time the funds will be handed to Sister Pat.
Little ones from back streets, with only the gutter for a playground, will be able to have a sunshine holiday and plenty of good food if the Sunbeams will help. Don’t forget this new slogan: “Save your pennies.”
