PIANOFORTE RECITAL
AN INTERESTING EVENING Ori Wednesday evening the pupils of Miss Constance Winthrop gave a very enjoyable pianofnrte recital in the Lewis Eady Hall. Trailing wistaria blossom and bright iceland poppies aecorated the stage very effectively. Miss Winthrop received her guests wearing a gown of cherry georgette embroidered with silver beads and irridescent sequins. Those performing were:—Misses Thelma Griffin, Norma Gunson, Muriel Coad, Stella May, Jean Porter, Marguerite Hay, RutTi Mansfield. ' Florence Griffin, Lexie Hart, Zelda Pulliam, Barbara Allen, Louise Porter, Pauline Bryant, Daphne Emery, Olywn Speed, Edna Delar.ey, Norma Dailey, Faith Mansfield, and Masters Wavene.v Davis, Raymond Kelly, Charles Davis, Carl Lewis, Eric Heape, and Gordon Buckley. The following artists assisted:—Mrs. J. Stratton, Misses Hamilton, Speed, Green and" Hart and Mr. A. Gracie. Among those present were:—Mrs. E. Winthrop, Mrs. L. S. Kelly, Mrs. C. Alan, Mrs. Speed,. Mrs. Griffin, Mrs. Gunson, Mrs. C. Davis, Mrs. Hamilton, Mrs. Coad, Mrs. May, Mrs. Porter, Mrs. Mans* Held, Mrs. X’ulham, Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Heap. Mrs. Delaney, Mrs. Dailey, Mrs. Sayers, Mrs. Blamires, Mrs. Emery, Miss Sale, Miss Haresnape and Miss Sayers.
