GIFT EVENING

PARTY FOR BRIDE-ELECT A delightful evening was spent at the residence of Mr. and Mrs., A. G. Wells, .Mill Road, when more than 50 guests were entertained in honour of the approaching marriage of Miss Anita Green to Mr. A. Lovatt. Games and cards were the features of the evening. The first prize for'the Five Hundred tournament went to Mrs. A...T. Smith and Mr. F. Gardiner, the second prize to Mrs. E. R. Wells, and the consolation prize to Mr. A. J. Wells. Winners of the guessing competitions were Miss Miriam Sword and Miss Gladys Mann. Miss Green was the recipient of many valuable and useful presents.
