Support for the swimming baths scheme at the Teachers’ Training College was asked by the Auckland Normal School Parents’ Association in a letter to the City Council last evening. Cr. Grey Campbell moved that the request go to a committee. ~ ssve OUI ' support," remarked the Mayor, Mr. G. Baildon, “we may be asked to give our support to football ground, tennis court schemes and .what not. The motion failed on the voices and the communication was received.
