TAINUI FROM SOUTHAMPTON.—The passenger liner Tainui is to leave Southampton today with passengers, mall and cargo for Wellington. She is due on January 11. REMUERA AT PANAMA. —Cable advice from Panama reports the arrival on Tuesday of the New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Remuera, en route from Napier to London. The vessel left Napier on November 9. REMUERA CLEARS COLON.—Cable advice received by the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the liner Remuera, which left Napier on November 9 for Southampton and London, left Colon on December 4. RANGITIKi FOR HOME.—With passengers, mails and cargo the New Zei* land Shipping Company’s motor-ship Rangitiki leaves Wellington at 3 o’clock tomorrow afternoon for Southampton and London, via Panama and Curacao. . RIMUTAKA REPORTED.—The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Rim u taka left Panama on Tuesday en route from London and Southampton witli passengers, mail and cargo for Wellington. She is due at Wellington on December 24. RARANGA AT NEW YORK.—A cable message to the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company reports that the Raranga arrived at New York on Monday morning from Auckland. She left Auckland on October 31 for New York, Boston, Halifax and London. MAUI POMARE DUE TOMORROW.— From Nuie Island and Apia, Samoa, via Lyttelton and Wellington, the Government motor-ship Maui Pomare is dv« at Auckland tomorrow. She will ber«_.i at the King’s Wharf, and on Mondav at 3 p.m. leaves for Norfolk Island. Spedding, Ltd., will be the local agents. MtTTELMEER LEAVES SAN PEDRO. —The Atlantic-Union Oil Company has been notified by cable that the German motor-tanker Mittelmeer sailed from San Pedro last Friday with a cargo of motor spirits for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. The vessel is due at Auckland on December 22. KAPONGA FROM AUSTRALIA. MALOLO AT SUVA. —According to cable advice received, the Alatson tourist liner Alalolo, which left Auckland last Tuesday evening, arrived at Suva at 10 o’clock this morning. OTOKIA REPORTS. —The Union Company’s tanker Otokia, with a full cargo of fuel oil from San Pedro, has reported by wireless that she expects to arrive at Wellington next Alonday afternoon. TOFUA’S MOVEMENTS. —The local office of the Union Company advises that the Island passenger steamer Tofu;-, which arrived at Suva at 6.30 p.m. on Wednesday from Auckland, leaves again tomorrow for Tonga and Samoa. IRIS TO SAIL TUESDAY.—The Pacific i Cable Board’s repair ship Iris is to sail at 8.30 o'clock on Tuesday morning to repair a defect in the WelUpgton-S' dney cable. The scene of operations will bo about 240 miles out from Wellington. GRETASTON SAILS TOMORROW. Henderson and Alacfarlane advises that the steamer Gretaston leaves Auckland at noon tomorrow for Westport, wliere sh»* will bunker before proceeding to Ocean Island to load for New Zealand or Australia. MOTOR SPIRIT FROM triVCApORE. —With a cargo of motor spirit for discharge at Auckland and Wellington, the Shell Company’s tanker is scheduled to clear Singapore on Tuesday next. MAUNGANUI FOR SYDNEY.—The departure of the Union Company’s intercolonial passenger steamer Alaunganui from Auckland for Sydney has been postponed until midnight tonight to enable •’The Desert Song” Company to connect with the vessel. PAUA COMING.—The Shell Company advises that its coastal vessel Paua is to leave Wellington today or tomorrow for Auckland with a cargo of case oil for discharge at this port. She is .due here early next week and will berth at Western Wharf. ULI MAP.OA FOR WELLINGTON. The Huddart-Parker's intercolonial passenger steamer Ulimaroa leaves Syciney at noon today for Wellington, where she is due next Tuesday morning. She is the only passenger steamer to arrive in New Zealand next week, from Sydney'. CANADIAN TRANSPORTER SAILS.— After having completed her loading for New York, Boston and Halifax at Prince’s Wharf, the Canadian National Steamships vessel Canadian Transporter was dispatched for those ports last evening. PORT DUNEDIN WITH TIMBER.— The C. and D. Line advises that the Port Dunedin will leave Bunbury (Western Australia) shortly with a cargo of hardwood, comprising railway sleepers and scantlings, for discharge at Wellington and Picton. The ship is due at Wellington about Christmas Day. WAIPAHI LEAVES SUVA.—According to cable advice received by the local office of the Union Company, the Island fruit steamer Waipahi left Suva at 3 30 p.m yesterday for Auckland, where s is due next Tuesday.
