NO SUPPORT FROM LABOUR GOVERNMENT

POSITION MADE CLEAR British Official Wireless RUGBY, Tuesday. When Mr. William Graham, President of the Board of Trade, was asked in the House of Commons today several questions regarding the dumping of foreign goods in Britain, he said the Government, had made it perfectly clear that it was not prepared to support protective duties of any character. Mr. Graham said the Government had accepted an invitation to the forthcoming conference at Geneva, the object of which was to conclude a definite international agreement among members of the League of Nations and non-member States, not to increase protective tariffs above tlie present level for a period of two or three years.
