Te Aroha Trotting Club, which this season will race on January 25, has issued an attractive schedule for the fixture. Chief °r i h * card . is the Te Aroha Cup, of £335 and £25 trophy, with the handy limit of 4.40. Horses of this calibre are given a further chance m the mile saddie event, 2.20 limit. The improving section has the Waitoa Handicap (U miles), 3.38, Ruakaka Handicap (1| miles), 3.2, Hot Springs Handicap (1£ miles), •?' anc ! Manawaru Handicap (2 miles), 4.48 to claim their attention. Square-gaiters, as usual, are well considered and the Elstow Handicap (1£ miles), 3.45 and Waihou Handicap (2 miles), 4.54. will attract the trotters. January 8 has been decided upon as the general entry day. and Mr. C. E. Goosman is the handicapper.
