CREDITORS WANT TO BRING HIM BACK

MORE THAN £2,000 IN DEBT Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. The creditors in the bankrupt estate of John Albert Bitters* a builder, of Lower Hutt, decided that the official assignee should endeavour to have Bitters brought back to New Zeal; and that if there were not sufficient funds in the estate to provide a guarantee the creditors would sign a bond pro rata. As a result of inquiries made by a legal firm it was stated that the assets available would probably be £479 13s Bd and it was asserted that if Bitters came back a turther £9OO might be available. The amounts' owing to unsecured creditors were given as £2,039 13s 2d. Bankrupt’s wife was represented by counsel at the meeting.
