WEST, AUCKLAND. Business: To consider the following proposed alterations and additions to the Rules of the Society, and if approved, pass a resolution incorporating the same in the said Rules. PROPOSED THAT: Rule 10.—After the words “duplicate thereof” be inserted the following words “on indemnifying the Society against any loss and” Rule 20. —Delete the words “Withdrawals can only be paid from the repayments of appropriations” and add the following words: “provided, however, that upon a group becoming five, ten, fifteen, or twenty years old, the order in which shares shall be paid out in respect of which withdrawal notices shall have been received by the Secretary before 12 noon of the day on which the group becomes five, ten, fifteen or twenty years old shall be decided by lot in the presence of one of the Directors of the Society, withdrawals shall not be paid out of subscriptions.” Rule 26. —The words “shall not” be deleted and the word “may” be substituted therefor. The -word “no” preceding the word “power” be deleted. The year "18S0" he deleted and “1908” be substituted therefor. Rule 30.—The following -words be added at end of rule: “provided that such member shall for the purposes of rotation be deemed to take the place of the Director whose retirement caused the vacancy.” Rule 134.—After the words share of the group” be inserted the words “or until the Group goes into liquidation under Rule 147.” DATED the THIRD DAY of DECEMBER, 1929.
