SUNSHINE CAMP FOR SICKLY CHILDREN Between now and Christmas a fresh air fund to help Sister Pat’s camp at Oneroa, where sickly children from poor homes in Auckland are given a holiday, will be open in the Wigwam. There are many destitute families in this Queen City of ours and unbelievable cases of hardship at our very doors. Each year a sunshine camp is held at Oneroa, where poor children of every creed may have nourishing food and everything else necessary for an out-door holiday. Last year the Chiefs and Braves of the Wigwam and the Sunbeams of Happy Town were responsible for sending twenty-eight children to camp. Ten shillings will keep f one child in camp for a week, but no sum is too small to send. Who will help? All subscriptions will be acknowledged in the Wigwam page.
