WAGONS DERAILED

ACCIDENT WHILE SHUNTING Two wagons loaded with coal were derailed and badly smashed during shunting operations in the railway yards this morning. The accident occurred on the maze of lines on the Quay Street frontage opposite the premises of A. and G. Price, Ltd., ironfounders. The two wagons moving in the same direction collided at the intersection of lines. The buffer was torn off a large L.A. wagon, which was spun round and set at right-angles across two sets of rails. The other wagon, made of wood, had the corner completely torn off and one side was badly damaged.
