PAINTERS’ SUCCESSFUL OUTING The Auckland Painters* Union held their picnic at Pine Island last weekend under favourable weather conditions. The attendance, considering the threatening conditions prevailing in the early morning, was good, about 800 being present. The arrangements were in the bonds of a capable committee, and Mr. H.
