ARM CAUGHT IN COGS
WORKMAN BADLY HURT

While working in a pit at the Islington railway works today. George Miller, of Riccarton. a surfaceman, had his right arm caught in the cogs of some machinery. His hand was almost torn off, and portion of his arm was later amputated at the hospital.
