FORTNIGHTLY SHOOT
From Our Own Correspondent THAMES, Monday. The fortnightly shoot of the Thames Gun Club was held at the Burke Street grounds on Saturday. The principal event, for a trophy donated by Mr. Jas. Renshaw, was won by Mr. W. Sparke. The results were:No. 1 Sweepstakes, 6 birds.—E. McDonald, 1; T. Lanning, 2; W. Maher, No. 2 Sweepstakes, 6 birds.—Dr. J. . Liggins and G. Thompson tied and divided the stake. No. 3 Sweepstakes, 7 birds.—G. Shaw, 1; Dr. Liggins, 2; F. S. Miller, No. 4 Sweepstakes, 7 birds.—F. S. Miller and Dr. Liggins shot the possible and divided the money; L. Howe, No. 5 Shoot for Rentshaw’s trophv. % b , lr ds.—W. Sparke, lj; G. Shaw, 2; G. lhompson, 3.
