ORDEAL IN PETROL FIRE
MAN’S CLOTHING BURNED OFF
BLAZING SPIRIT AT PUMPS ADELAIDE, Sunday. While a heated motor-lorry was having Us tank filed with petrol, Mr. J. Hinsey lit a match. The fumes of the petrol reached his clothing, which caught fire. Mr. Hinsey ran across the road and knocked against the hose of the petrol pump. Blazing spirit soon enveloped the lorry and four nearby pumps. It was quelled bv means of chemicals. Mr. Hinsey’s clothing was burned off, but he refused to go to hospital. He is expected to recover.
