HITCHEN—SINCLAIR A pretty wedding was celebrated at St. James’s Presbyterian Church, Puke- | kohe last Saturday week, between Mary Ralston Sinclair, youngest daughter of ! Mr. and Mrs. Sinclair, of Dunoon, I Scotland, and Phillip Reginald Kitchen, j only son of Mr. and Mrs. Hitchen, of ; Pokeno. The Rev. J. Pattison offiI dated. The bride, who was given away by Mr. J. Anderson, of Stanley Bay, wore a white crepe de chine frock embroidered in gold. Her veil was held in place by a head-dress of orange blossoms. and she carried a shower bouquet of pink and white flowers. The bridesmaid, Miss Xes. Boyd, wore a powder blue romanette frock of uneven hemline, and a liat to tone. She carried a bouquet of peony roses and blue delphiniums. Misses Margaret Blair and Marion Butterworth acted as flower girls, each carrying a basket of blue and pink flowers. Mr. H. Ewing attended the bridegroom as best man. Some 40 guests were entertained at the Ayrshire Tea Rooms, Mrs. C. Blair acting as hostess.
