PEOPLE OF N.Z. THANKED Press Association WESTPORT, Sunday. At a meeting of the Bulller district earthquake relief committee the following resolution was carried: “That members of the committee desire to publicly thank the people of ew Zealand who have so generously contributed to the earthquake relief fund. Their sympathy with this isolated district in its time of trouble gave residents fresh heart, and their generosity made it possible to assist hundreds who required assistance. The work of restoration is now nearing completion, and it is solely due to the earthquake relief fund that it has been possible to restore so many homes in comparatively so short a time.”
