CRYSTAL PALACE
“THE* WHEEL OF LIFE” “The Wheel of Life.” an all-talking picture with the popular Richard Dix in the principal role, is the main feature on the splendid programme which is attracting audiences to the Crystal Palace Theatre, Mount Eden. Dix is cast as a British soldier, and acquits himself well in a role which calls for much action. Supports of a diverting nature are shown, including two humorous sketches, a talking cartoon, a screen snapshots, with Hollywood personalities: also a sound gazette, with the latest world news.
“The Return of Sherlock Holmes,” Paramount's picturisation of Sir A. Conan Doyle's famous story, whs recently completed at the Long Island studios. Clive Brook is featured in the role of the famous detective.
