“THE LAST WARNING”
If you like to feel chills running up and down your spine, hair bristling at the nape of your neck, and goose bumps surging in waves over your anatomy, go to the Tivoli Theatre where “The Last Warning.' a mystery drama is being shown. Paul Leni, directorial wizard, has made an adaptation of the famous stage success that keeps the audience in breathless suspense. “The Last Warning” with Laura La Plante in the starring role, is an unusual mystery of a haunted theatre. It originally appeared in book form under the title “The House of Fear’’ by Wadsworth Camp. It was made into one of New York’s most successful plays, “The Last Warning” by Thomas F. Fallon. The Tivoli is also presenting a full programme of shorter talkie items.
~ DIXIELAND CABARET The ever-popular Dixieland Cabaret will be the scene of another pleasant dance this evening. Favourite musical selections will be played by the Dixieland Dance Band and dancing will be continued until midnight.
