SEVEN MINERS KILLED

EXPLOSION IN WELSH COLLIERY 33 OTHERS RESCUED LONDON, Friday. An explosion occurred at Wernbwl Colliery, near Gowertown, Glamorganshire, in ■which there were 40 men. Relief parties and doctors rushed to the scene, and all the men were rescued except seven, who were entombed, and who later were found dead. Five bodies were recovered.
