In the matter of “The Town Boards Act, 1908," and “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” and amendments and regulations made thereunder respectively', the Howick Town Board hereby gives notice in terms of “The Local Bodies Loans Act 1926,” that it proposes to raise thre» special loans of the following amount? and for the following purposes:— I. A Special Loan of £9,340 for tb* purpose of installing pumping plant, wel, chlorination, delivery main, reservoir, reticulation mains, with all necessary hydrants, tees, valves and other fittings and house connections. (a) For the purpose of securing tl e repayment of the said Special Loan of £9,340 a special annual recurring rare of 73-80 (seventy-three eightieths) of a penny in the £ will be made arid levied upon the rateable value of all the rateable property within the whc-1® of the Howick Toti§n Board District. (b) It is proposed to make such loan repayable in 30 years and to make provision for the repayment thereof by a sinking fund of £1 10s (one pound ten shillings) per centum per annum. Interest on said loan will not exceed &s per cent. (c) No portion of interest or sinking fund will be paid out of loan moneys, but the costs, charges or expenses incurred in raising the loan will be paw out of the same. 11.
