AT HOME AT VICTORIA LEAGUE ROOMS ROSE DECORATIONS A most enjoyable bridge afternoon an evening At Home were held at the Victoria League rooms yesterday, the hostesses on both occasions being Mrs. .W. Johnston, Mrs. Donald Ogilvie, Mrs. V. Usher and Mrs. F. S. Moorhouse. The rooms had been delightfully arranged with bowls of pink rambler roses and fern, palms and aspidistra. About 18 tables were in use. during the afternoon. . Among .the players were: —■ Mowbray, president*.of the league; Mrs. Arthur Wakeman, Mrs. J . D. McGuire, Mrs. .AI. E. Lennard, Mrs. W. R. Johnston received the. guests in a frock of cherry georgette and silver, with a wrap of cyclamen and silver lame. Mrs. Donald Ogilvie was in a period frock of black taffeta. Mrs. Usher had chosen moonlight blue georgette, encrusted, with rhinestone, sequins. Mrs. Moorhouse had on a black georgeorgette frock with a beaded bordering in pastel tints. Among the players were;— Lady Sinclair Lockhart, the Rev. W. W. Averill and Mrs. Averill, Mrs. Ilenore, Mrs. Harding, Mrs. Rickerby, Mrs; Scarborough, Mrs. Gillett, Mrs. Turtle, Mrs. Seaman, Mrs. Duncan Ross, Mrs. Woolcott. Mrs. Dowell, Mrs. Angwin, Mrs. W. R.
