DRIVER’S EMPLOYER PAYS i»4O Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH. Today. Damages amounting to £2,500 were claimed in the Supreme Court from Louis Albert Sarten, by G. Taylor, executor in the estate of John Polett: who was knocked down and killed by a lorry driven by, a Maori named Watson, employed by Sarten. Liability was admitted, and the jury awarded £940. ':o be divided among Poletti’s widow and family.
