UNION’S CLAIM FAILS
CASE AGAINST COUNCIL Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. Holding that there had been no breach of the terms of clause 8 of the industrial agreement made between the two parties. Mr. E. Page. S.M.. in a reserved judgment, dismissed the claim made recently in the Magistrate's Court by the Wellington Tramway Employees’ Union against the Wellington City . Corporation for two £lO penalties in respect of Motorman Lee and Conductor Jorgenson, who. it was alleged, had been employed longer than five hours without meal relief.
