ROTORUA MAORI CHOIR
AOTORUA MAORI CHOIR The best presentation of Maori music ever heard in Auckland will be that given in the main Town Hall this evening and tomorrow evening by the Rotorua Maori Choir. This choir consists of no less than 50 trained voices, and includes two singers, Ano Hato and Deane Waretini, who have become famous through their Maori songs on the gramophone. Maori part-songs and love ballads, pois, canoe dances, quartets, hakas and so on will be given by this talented combination. A musical feast of this nature comes but rarely to Auckland and the appearance of these Maori singers with their melodious national and tribal songs should be much appreciated.
Box plan arrangements are advertised.
