CRYSTAL PALACE

“GENTLEMEN OF THE PRESS” “Gentlemen of the Press,” an alltalking drama of newspaper life, continues its season at the Crystal Palace Theatre, Mount Eden. The story deals with a veteran newspaperman who has given up everything in life for his business. When his daughter was born, he was covering a prize-fight; when his wife died, he was on assignment covering a Mexican uprising; when his daughter graduated from high school, he was writing about Lindbergh. The only thing h© lias not given up is his fatal SLisceptibility for a pretty woman. It is this character that Walter Huston portrays on the talking screen version. It is this thrilling story that should entertain and delight patrons. The Crystal Palace programme, also comprises several talking and singing featurettes.
