CYCLING CONTROL IN N.Z.
UNION WANTS DIRECT AFFILIATION Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. The question of taking cycling control away from the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association was discussed by the Port Nicholson Amateur Road Racing Club last evening. The attendance was not large, and feeling ran high at times. Mr. London, treasurer, moved that the meeting approve of the proposal of the New Zealand Unicn of Cyclists for direct affiliation, cor tending that the time had arrived when <\yclists should control their own affairs. This motion was eventually carried, with one dissenting vote. ATHLETICS.
