MR. W. IMPETT TO GO ON WORLD TOUR MATERIAL FOR RECITALS

To obtain the latest ideas in regard to advanced voice production and teaching methods generally, Mr. "Walter Impett, the well-known Auckland teacher. Is leaving shortly on an extended world tour. It is Mr. Impett’s intention to visit England, most of the Continental countries and also America, in order to hear all the best of the good music

and secure interviews with prominent composers. From the material gained it is Mr. Impett’s intention upon his return to ;-ive a series of lecture-recitals illustrated with Items by students. Mr. Impett will also make a point of attending the famous Three Choirs Festival. which is the meeting of the choirs of Gloucester, Worcester and Hereford, an institution more than two centuries old. He will also attend the Welsh Eisteddfod. In hi 3 capacity of music critic. Mr. Impett has come in contact with many celebrities of the musical world, and has maify friends abroad. In England he will also benefit from the experience gained by his son, Mr. Kenneth Impett, who is now residing there.

Before leaving early in the New Year Mr. Impett will be given a complimentary concert by some of his admirers and pupils.
